The Delicious Chocolate Chip Cookies

The aroma and taste of a batch of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies is a source of deliciousness for most people. Scents of freshly made cookies are some of the fondest memories of childhood that we own. Placing the cookies on the counter top after they were removed from the oven was an act that demanded our full attention. One thing is that these cookies are great to eat at any time of the day.

It is true that chocolate chip cookies summon warm feelings and memories, making them a typical comfort food. These cookies coming in different textures and flavors are not at all rare. The banana chocolate chip cookie and cherry flavored cookies are two favorites among fruit lovers. Chocolate lovers will delight over double chocolate chip cookies and white chocolate chip cookies.

I certainly don't know who came up with the combination, but adding oatmeal to chocolate chip is a delightful combination. Pieces of mint will give you mint chocolate chip cookies, and raisins, candy bars, or espresso beans are additional flavors that can be added. Practically any ingredient can be used to flavor your cookies, including m&ms, candy canes, walnuts, peanuts, macadamia nuts, and chocolate chunks.

For some, the regular chocolate chip cookie is not satisfying enough, and they choose instead to go with cookie bars or chocolate chip cookie pie. People with particular special dietary needs can enjoy these home baked cookies without much worry. Many people enjoy chocolate chip cookies recipes they find online that enable them to make low fat, vegan, whole wheat, wheat free, or egg free varieties.

Now that you know about the many ways you can enjoy the world's most famous cookie, I hope you will try many of the delicious recipes so you too can enjoy the ultimate chocolate chip cookie experience.

How to Write a Restaurant Review

Not only can writing restaurant reviews be an enjoyable experience because you can try all sorts of different foods, it can also be a creative way to express your opinion. There are a number of different rules to follow when writing a quality review. It is important that you understand how to determine the quality of food as well as the restaurant.

The following list highlights a number of tips on how to write a restaurant review:

1. Restaurant Selection: Pick a restaurant that you find interesting and make a reservation. Make sure that it is food that you normally eat and like.

2. Restaurant Features: When you dine at the restaurant, note the dcor, atmosphere, wait staff, kitchen staff, parking, cleanliness, other diners, and location.

3. Write Review: Right after dining, find a place to write a review.

4. Describe your Impression of the Style and Dcor of the Restaurant: This includes color scheme, decorations, themes, and seating arrangement. Describe the arrangement of the table. Also, you should discuss the exterior of the restaurant. Is it in an accessible location? How was the parking? Was the exterior attractive?

5. Dicuss the Patrons and Staff. What types of people were dining at the restaurant? (Professionals, families, informal diners) Was the staff helpful and nice? Did you have to wait long to receive your food? Did you have to wait long for a server?

6. Discuss the Food: What type of food does the restaurant serve? (Italian, Mexican, Fast Food...etc.) Provide a few of the different foods they offer as well as the cost. Was your food the right temperature? How did the food taste? Was it fully cooked? Was the plate of food appealing to look at? What did you like? Was there anything you did not like? Was the food mushy or have a nice texture? How fresh was the food? Did the food have a nice aroma? Was the review worth the price you paid? The food must have the most words in the review.

7. Organization of the Review: Structure the review chronologically. Write about the moment you entered the restaurant until you paid and left. Write with clear and concise words. Keep topic discussions together and not scattered throughout the review. Use vivid words like amazing, breath taking. Discuss the ingredients. Write using your own personality to make it unique. Dont make your review a story about your visit to the restaurant. What makes the restaurant so unique? Make sure you provide a recommendation.

8. Writing Mechanics: Describe the restaurant in the present tense. Write in the second person or using a passive tense. Do not make the sentences too short. The review should flow when one is reading it. Avoid pronouns as much as possible.

Writing a review that includes a variety of features about the restaurant will make your review very professional. By implementing a number of writing tips, your review will educate and inform the consumer. Writing a review is an enjoyable way to express your view.

Build Today -- Tools and Supplies needed to construct the Chicken Coop of your Dreams

I wanted to put it off, but I knew it unavoidable. I needed a chicken coop. The little chicks weren't so little anymore and they were able to get out of their tiny box which was make the garage notably grimy. After seeing the prices of the pre-fabricated chicken coops I decided to construct my own chicken coop to save a several hundred bucks.

I've put together a list of everything you'll need that you are going to need as well as what they're going to be needed for.

Of course every single building project wouldn't be complete without a hammer and nails. This staple of the backyard builder will be what you use to put the coop together.

You're also going to need a measuring tape, level, and a framing square. The measuring tape is pretty obvious, but the level and square are important as well. The level is to ensure that your chicken coop doesn't have a slant and to make sure everything lines up nicely. The square is used when slicing lumber to make sure that you have a perfect 90 degree angle.

You're also going to need an screw driver and screws. You could use a hand screwdriver, but I wouldn't suggest it... your arm will become extremely fatigued. You see, when building anything screws are very much stronger than nails because they 'grip' the wood more than nails do. Nails have their place as well, but usually to hold together non-structural pieces of whatever you're constructing.

I also very much suggest having a table saw or a circular saw. You could use a handsaw, but the number of cuts you need to make would take quite a long time if you used a hand saw.

One of the most considerable things you just have to do to your chicken coop is seal it up extremely good . A drafty chicken coop can cause dangerous health problems for your chickens in the winter season. In order to seal up your chicken coop you're going to need a caulking gun and some exterior silicone. I should mention that you need let the silicone dry for at least 72 hours before you place your chickens in the coop because the silicone releases some health affecting fumes.

Of course, it's always a good thing if your coop looks stylish as well. For this we'll use paint. You should paint it any colors you want. Since I really didn't want to tick off my neighbors I decided not to paint the coop pink, but rather I painted it a nice brown color. It blends in with the backyard extremely well.

There aren't very many things you have to have to construct a coop. The essentials are: lumber, cinder blocks, shingles and some chicken wire. You should be able to get all of the materials for your chicken coop for around $100.

Now that you understand what you need to build your coop, get some plans and get started building! The quicker you finish the faster you'll be able to enjoy fresh eggs every day.

Join Guy Fieri in Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives

When Guy Fieri first showed up many people just didn't know what to make of him. As he competed through the Food Network's The Next Food Network Star and showed the audience and the judges that his sense of humor didn't hide his ability to create incredible food. Upon winning, he was awarded his own Food Network show and platinum blonde, spiky haired, goatee wearing funny guy landed Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives.

Naturally, Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives would be quite the same without the very large personality the Guy Fieri truly is. While he drives around in bright red 1968 Camero, often with his sunglasses hanging off the back of his rather than protecting his eyes, his flamboyant nature isn't disrespectful. He is simply a character, and being a character has brought him into the limelight and into our living rooms.

These restaurants get Guy's recognition on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives because they offer characteristics that set them apart from other diners and real world establishments. Whether it's the food, the atmosphere, or the history, there is always a story to be told when Guy walks in the front door. As his loyal and happy fans we follow him with anticipation right through that front door as well.

Occasionally, Guy has found one or two dishes on the menu that hasn't suited his tastes, but overall he is introducing the viewer to great little eateries that are never overpriced, perfect for the family, and has discarded the idea that food and stuffy clothing has to go together. Casual dining doesn't have to mean food that doesn't taste out of this world.

While it's true that most of the establishments that are aired on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives deliver "off the hook" food that hits it "on like Donkey Kong" there have been a few places that Guy wasn't so thrilled with the food. It's refreshing to know that if you are loyally watching the show you don't have to be worried about being driven in the wrong direction. An honest TV host?

Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives is usually done in sets of three. You get three states, three towns, and three restaurants per episode. In most episodes you can find Guy in the kitchen bringing the action to you straight from the heart of the restaurant. While he also gets the first taste, you can count on him to be honest about the food quality.

If you take a few trips to find the best little joints that will light up your taste buds and make a great way to discover some of the best little places for a bite in your general area.

Charming to watch, fun to be around, honest and witty, Guy Fieri has brought reality food television to a whole new level. Sure, he's a little "off the hook" but isn't that why we tune in week after week to watch him roam back in the kitchens of today's neatest little eateries.

A New Taste Of Fashion-Chocolate Fashion

We all love chocolates, no matter we are children or adults. Just thinking about the word chocolate might already be enough to make our mouths watery.

There are many different kinds of delicious chocolates in the world, and it is impossible for you to taste all of them. You don't need to choose your favorite one, but continue to try different flavors.

The madness of chocolate lovers has driven different forms of chocolate production, such as chocolate perfumes, chocolate facial and even chocolate massage. Apart from this, this little magic thing has also become the focus of fashion shows.

Have you ever heard of chocolate fashion shows? It may probably the wildest thing you have heard of. They are held around the world with so-called chocolate models. These models are dressed up in clothes made of chocolates and walk on the ramp.

In New York, many of these shows are held with chocolate models who look dazzling and tasty in their uniquely designed dresses. These dresses are creative that all of them are made with chocolate accents. You can see a wide variety of chocolates in these fashion shows.

Different ideas and themes are introduced in these shows every year. For instance, there was a show in New York with Super Heroes such as X Men and Superman dressed up in chocolate clothes. It was an arousing show which added variety to these special fashion shows.

The chocolate-made outfits presented in these fashion shows are usually made by chefs and Chocolatiers. Whether you want chocolate bikini tops, chocolate hot pants or even accessories like chocolate guns, these professional Chocolatiers would be able to help.

Apart from dark chocolates, white chocolates are also being used in the show. The chocolate models looked splendid and tasty when they were walking the catwalk. Unfortunately, all these chocolate attires would be destroyed and dumped after the show, and this large amount of chocolate can satisfy you for uncountable days!

Who Created the Nutrisystem Diet?

Among all the many varieties of weight-loss and diet programs and trends, how would you know which one would be the best one to choose? If you are looking for a hassle-free diet and weight-loss program that is really easy to do, then the Nutrisystem diet is the best choice for you. The Nutrisystem diet is the ultimate in customer ease and convenience. It is the perfect choice if you do not want to have to do all the meal planning, shopping for special foods while taking note of the calories each one has, cooking, and most especially portion sizes.

The Nutrisystem Diet has you choose a months worth of food online among its vast selection of delicious diet meals online. Once you have done so, the meals will be delivered to your doorstep in ready-to-cook bags. All you have to do is to pop them in the stove or microwave and you will have your meal in a flash. Who wouldn't love that?

So who is the genius that came up with this system? Well, a Horsham, Pennsylvania-based company called NutriSystem, Inc. is actually responsible. Founded in 1972, NutriSystem, Inc. started out by developing a liquid protein diet program. After a barrage of similar products hit the market, NutriSystem, Inc. decided to stop the program and develop something else. They did a lot of trial and error before they decided to open up a chain of weight loss centers wherein the customers would come in, be weighed in and then prescribed pre-packaged portion-controlled meals to bring home.

Incidentally, the company went bankrupt in the early 1990s. However, in 1999 they restarted the company and reinvented themselves as an online meal delivery service. This proved to be a great plan because they soon developed the innovative diet program called the NutriSystem Diet. In the early 2000s, the company expanded so that the customers could order their meals by monthly assortements not only online but over the phone as well.

NutriSystem Inc.s next brainchild was to extend their key demographics to include male and older customers. This caused the program to boom, as it acquired more customers. In the year 2008, NutriSystem Inc. renamed the program to NutriSystem Advanced. They then created a partnership with the popular television-marketing program that airs its 90-minute infomercials, QVC.

The company's president was once quoted as saying that they would not use celebrities as endorsers since a weight gain in the celebrity's part would be detrimental to the company. However, they changed their mind in the last couple of years. They have the successful testimonials of celebrities such as Dan Marino, Marie Osmond, Tony Orlando and the latest, Belinda Carlisle.

You are just given a sample of what good information about diet you can get online.

Crystal Clear Long Island Bottled Water

If you live in Long Island and have ever turned on the water tap early in the morning, you have been greeted with that horrid smell of chlorine. If they have to add that much bleach to the water, doesn't it make you wonder what it is that they are trying to kill in your drinking water. For pure clean water, you should choose Long Island bottled water, the chlorine free alternative.

Most people are aware that they are not drinking enough water each day. It is recommended that you drink eight-eight ounce glasses or water every day. That adds up to sixty four ounces or half a gallon of water that you should drink daily. Additionally, if you are extremely active, a runner or someone who works out at a gym, you should drink enough additional water to replace what is lost through perspiration.

Water comes in many conveniently sized bottles that hold everywhere from on cup to five gallons. The smaller bottles are great to drop into a bag lunch, carry to the gym, or take on your daily commute.

The mid range bottles (one gallon to 2. 5 gallons) are a great size to sit in the refrigerator for perfectly chilled water whenever you need it.

The largest containers, the five gallon ones, need a dispenser for use. Dispensers can be simple but elegant or modern and very functional with hot, cold or room temperature water available from on one bottle.

Many people prefer the larger bottles as they are often returned for a deposit to be refilled. Refillable bottles are one answer to the problem created by water bottles in land fills. They can be used to refill smaller water bottles. You can use a smaller bottle that you purchased already filled with water or a metal or plastic bottle bought to carry water.

While it is important for adults to drink plenty of water, it is also important for children. Children who are not hydrated properly may have difficulty learning in school. Be sure that you provide your child with bottled water every day in order for them to stay hydrated and to avoid the germs of the school's water coolers.

Water is necessary for your body to function properly. A lack of water makes it difficult for your body to get rid of waste products and fight germs. Drinking the correct amount of water even makes weight loss easier. Always be sure that you have plenty of clean Long Island bottled water on hand.

Road Tripping is Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives Style

Creating your own Diners, Drive Ins, and Drives marathon involves a little more than settling in front of the television. While we all love to watch Guy Fieri with his backward sunglasses and his excitement over finding the best little stop in some obscure small town, creating your own marathon is more fun.

Duarte's Tavern, for instance, is a prime location for starting a middle California drive ins, diners, and dives tour around the state. You can head south for a number of mouthwatering stops along the way, including Pizzeria Luigi or Gaffey Street Diner. Along the tour you get to peak at all kinds of interesting sites and meet some interesting people.

The real life version of Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives brings the best aspects of the show into your own food education. Food can be one of the best and most satisfying aspects of life, and with the significant popularity of the Food Network, food education at home has also increased to life enhancing proportions.

The more you start to know about food the more you'll get out of creating your very own Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives marathon. Whether you take a week or a month to walk in Guy's footsteps, knowing what good food is and being able to recognize special foods and places will help you experience the journey with a great deal of appreciation.

The unique and beautiful natural surroundings that accompany your Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives touring vacation make the entire trip placed against the backdrop of some of the most impressive highway scenery and incredible back roads that exist on our planet. While you're driving from one of the favorite Guy Fieri diners on the list to another you will be stunned by the scenery and even the smell of the air.

Taking a tour of the country from north to south or east to west while following the outline of the drive ins, diners, and dives that are highlighted throughout the show can give you an entire new perspective on the different cultures and cuisine that you can find throughout the trip. Even if you don't make it all the way from one region to the next, you can expect to find different cultures and subcultures within the parameters of various regional areas.

If you are looking for something interesting to do on your next vacation, taking a little trip to see the closest drive ins, diners, and dives will earn you the bragging rights associated with grabbing a spotlight in one of Guy Fieri's diners. Just by showing up you get bragging rights to being informed enough to know exactly where the best burgers are found, the biggest breakfast can be found, and the squarest donuts can be eaten.

It's a lot of fun to grab the Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives locations and plan out your next vacation. While you may very well have one or two of the coolest Guy picks near you, taking the trip to go find more gives you a way to discover local cuisine combined with local culture from here to there and everywhere in between. It's more fun than making your trip plans based on one single destination. Your taste buds will appreciate the extra thought you put into your vacation this year.

Not Only Paying for Food, but also Paying for Service

More people are now making dining at a restaurant a part of their lifestyle. This trend has resulted in an abundance of restaurants. Food used to be the major factor for dining at a particular restaurant, but now customers are looking for more features. The quality of service is now another important factor people take into consideration when choosing a restaurant to dine.

The staff works on the front lines of the restaurant. They are the people customers deal with throughout the dining experience. Staff should be friendly, outgoing, have good listening skills, and hard working. The staff should reflect the restaurant ambience. Customers will return to a restaurant that has great staff.

When people walk into a restaurant, they want to see staff wearing clean, pressed, and professional uniforms. If it is a restaurant that seats the diners, they should be greeted by a warm and welcoming smile. They expect politeness and friendly conversation. As well, the staff won't be chewing gum or wearing off-putting accessories like a nose ring. Customers will assess the quality of service by how well the waitstaff attend to their needs. The servers should be able know the customers' wants without having to ask. This can include asking if they want a glass of wine or other beverage right after the customer sits down. As well, the server should ask if they would like to order an appetizer while they wait for their meals. It is important for the waitstaff to anticipate their diner's needs.

A customer should not have to look around for their server. The server should keep an eye on their customers and know when they need assistance. The customer should have their water, coffee or other beverages topped off without having to ask. The server will also politely ask, without interrupting diners' conversation, how they like the food.

The diner's food will arrive hot and in a reasonable amount of time after ordering. The utensils and plates, and glasses will be properly set. As well, each dish will have its own utensils. The waitstaff will be courteous and respectful throughout the meal. After diners have left, the waitstaff will make sure tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset quickly.

Servers will be trained in proper table service, and be knowledgeable about the menu, food, and wines. They will also know how the food is cooked and key ingredients in each dish. As well, they will know what the daily specials are. They will be prompt, attentive, and mannerly. The diner will feel as though they are pampered.

Servers should be respectful to diners who are not happy with their meal. They should politely return the food and accommodate the customer with a new dish or substitution. They should also be patient and respectful to a complaining customer.

The restaurant staff will have a major influence on a diner's experience. The staff must be there to assist the diner when needed, and be out of the way, but nearby, when not needed. How the staff treats a customer will affect if a diner returns to the restaurant. When dining at a restaurant, one will be paying for both the food and quality service.
